Vandersteen 2C Oak Floorstanding Speakers

This is a true four-driver, three-way design: a 10" acoustic coupler sub-bass driver, an 8" woofer, a 4.5" midrange, and a 1" textile dome tweeter — all operating in carefully stepped time and phase alignment. That's not an accident or a selling point, it's Richard Vandersteen's whole philosophy. Every driver fires in sequence so the wavefront arrives at your ears the way it was recorded. The result is a coherence and seamlessness that a lot of speakers costing multiples of this still can't touch.

Bass extension hits a genuine 32Hz at ±1.5dB — real bass, not suggested bass. The crossover is smooth enough that reviewers compared it to electrostatics in terms of integration. At 88dB sensitivity, it's an easy load for a wide range of amplifiers — 40 to 160 watts per channel puts you right in the sweet spot.

The oak finish is the classic look: understated, warm, and built to disappear into a room rather than compete with it.

No Boxes or accessories. Grilles are brand new.
