Transparent MusicLink Balanced — 2M Single, MM2

The MM2 designation means the network module is modular — it can be removed and replaced as Transparent releases new calibration generations, without replacing the cable itself. That changes the long-term value proposition of a Transparent cable considerably: you're buying the cable geometry once, and the network can be updated as your system or Transparent's technology evolves.

At 2 meters, the MusicLink Balanced with MM2 is calibrated for that specific run length — the passive network compensates for the inductive and capacitive characteristics a 2-meter balanced conductor produces, not an approximation of some standard length. XLR termination for common-mode noise rejection, slightly longer run than the 1.5M for components with a bit more distance between them or routing requirements around rack hardware.
