Schiit Aegir Power Amplifier 1st Gen

Twenty watts per channel, and Schiit will explain at length why that's enough — and for the right speakers, they're correct. The Aegir is built around Schiit's Continuity circuit, a topology biased firmly into Class A operation up to its rated output with the thermal and efficiency behavior of Class A at real-world listening levels. It doesn't pretend to be something it isn't: 20 watts into 8 ohms, 40 into 4, 80 in bridged mono. If your speakers are sensitive and your room is not a concert hall, the Aegir is a genuinely musical amplifier at a price that makes the conversation about Class A power accessible without a second mortgage. Single-ended RCA inputs for stereo operation, balanced XLR input for bridged mono — buy two and you have a monoblock pair for $1,600. Stereophile's Class A rating at that price point was not an accident; they measured it and listened to it and put it there.
