Rupert Neve Designs RNHP Precision Headphone Amplifier

Rupert Neve spent sixty years designing the consoles and transformers that shaped how recorded music sounds — the 1073 preamp, the 8078 console, equipment that defined the sound of records you've been listening to your entire life. The RNHP is what happens when that design philosophy gets applied to a headphone amplifier: class A operation, transformer-coupled output, and a noise floor low enough that the headphones become the limiting factor rather than the amplifier driving them.

The transformer coupling is the distinction. Most headphone amplifiers are direct-coupled solid-state circuits. The RNHP puts a Neve-designed transformer in the signal path — the same element that gives Neve's studio equipment its characteristic density and harmonic character. The result is a headphone amplifier that sounds more like a musical instrument than a measurement device: accurate but not clinical, detailed but not fatiguing.

Balanced XLR input, two unbalanced RCA inputs. Works with a wide range of headphone impedances. Compact desktop form factor that fits anywhere.

For the listener who has invested in quality headphones and wants an amplifier that can actually reveal what they're capable of.
