Rega RP2 Turntable with MM Cartridge

Rega builds turntables in Castleford, England, and the RP2 is the step above their entry Planar 1 — the point in the Rega lineup where the RB251 tonearm arrives, the motor isolation is taken seriously, and the table starts performing like a piece of equipment rather than a lifestyle accessory. Belt-drive, phenolic resin platter, Rega's own low-noise AC motor in a decoupled housing. The engineering is straightforward and correct: Rega's position is that a light, rigid, well-damped plinth does more for sound quality than a heavy suspended chassis, and the RP2 is the demonstration of that argument at an accessible price.

The RB251 tonearm is the key upgrade over the entry level — Rega's own arm, low bearing friction, properly matched to the table's geometry. It tracks well-recorded records cleanly and handles most moving magnet cartridges correctly without modification.

Comes with the ND3 MM cartridge installed and aligned. Ready to connect and play.
