Purist Audio Design Aqueous Phono Cable — 1.2M, RCA to DIN
Phono is where cable capacitance actually matters. A moving magnet cartridge interacts directly with the capacitive load downstream — too much and the high-frequency resonance peak shifts, sometimes audibly brightening or rounding the top end depending on the cartridge. The Aqueous Phono is designed with that problem in mind: low capacitance conductors, Purist's fluid-dampening compound surrounding the signal path to absorb mechanical resonance from the table itself, and shielding built to reject the hum and RFI that phono signals are especially vulnerable to given how small the voltages involved are.
The RCA-to-DIN configuration is standard for tonearms that terminate in a 5-pin DIN — Linn, Naim, Rega, and a wide range of vintage Japanese arms use this convention. 1.2 meters is the typical run from plinth to phono stage, which keeps the cable short enough to minimize capacitive loading without forcing the placement of your phono stage.

We offer a 3-day return window on all purchases. Returns made to a credit or debit card will incur a 5 percent processing fee. Shipping costs, both to and from, are the responsibility of the customer if applicable.
After the 3-day window and up to 3 weeks from the date of purchase, items may still be returned, subject to a 20 percent restocking fee.
For shipped orders, customers must notify us within 3 days of receiving the item to initiate a return. Once the item is received back in the same condition it was sent, we will issue a refund minus all shipping charges and a 5 percent credit card processing fee.
