PSAudio Stellar Phono Preamplifier
Noise is the real engineering challenge in a phono stage. The signal coming off a cartridge is measured in millivolts. By the time you've amplified it to line level, any noise in the gain stage has been amplified right alongside it. PS Audio's approach is a separate regulated power supply. The power transformer is physically removed from the signal chain, and the supply rails are cleaned before the audio circuit ever sees them. The result is a stage quiet enough to work with cartridges outputting as little as 0.2mV without the noise floor becoming part of the listening experience.
The gain is adjustable across a range wide enough to handle whatever you put in front of it. MC loading is selectable to match your cartridge's requirements. Both single-ended (RCA) and balanced (XLR) outputs let it fit into whatever system it's going into. The RIAA equalization is precise. Everything about it was designed by people whose reference point is the BHK line, PS Audio's cost-no-object product, and who brought as much of that engineering down into the Stellar tier as the price would allow.

We offer a 3-day return window on all purchases. Returns made to a credit or debit card will incur a 5 percent processing fee. Shipping costs, both to and from, are the responsibility of the customer if applicable.
After the 3-day window and up to 3 weeks from the date of purchase, items may still be returned, subject to a 20 percent restocking fee.
For shipped orders, customers must notify us within 3 days of receiving the item to initiate a return. Once the item is received back in the same condition it was sent, we will issue a refund minus all shipping charges and a 5 percent credit card processing fee.
