ProAc Response D20R Floorstanding Speakers — Pair, with IsoAcoustic Feet

Stewart Tyler has been designing speakers at ProAc in England since the 1970s, and the D20R is the ribbon-tweeter variant in the Response D line — the "R" designation meaning the soft dome is replaced with a Fountek ribbon, which handles the top end with lower mass and faster transient response than a conventional dome can manage. Paired with a 6.5-inch bass/midrange driver and a rear-ported cabinet, the result is a speaker that does the British thing well: scale and presence in a compact footprint, without sounding like it's trying to fill more room than it actually moves air in.

The D series sits at the serious end of ProAc's catalog — real cabinet construction, real crossover components, and the kind of coherent presentation that comes from a designer who has been refining the same fundamental approach for decades.

IsoAcoustic Gaia feet are included — the decoupling hardware that reduces resonance transfer between the cabinet and the floor. In a room with a suspended wood floor or any surface that rings, the difference is audible. Not an accessory for its own sake.
