NuPrime ST-10 Stereo Power Amplifier

NuPrime builds amplifiers in Taiwan and the ST-10 is their dedicated stereo power amplifier — a Class D design built around NuPrime's proprietary amplifier topology, which incorporates a Class A input stage before the switching output section. The argument is that the character and resolution of a Class A front end feeds into the efficiency and power delivery of Class D without the thermal and size limitations of a pure Class A design.

The result is a compact chassis that delivers substantially more power than its footprint suggests — NuPrime's Class D implementation is more resolved at the upper frequencies than commodity switching amplifier modules, and the ST-10 is built around that differentiation. Balanced XLR and unbalanced RCA inputs. High current output into 4-ohm loads. A power amplifier that works as a serious component rather than a convenience product dressed up in audiophile marketing.
