New Audio Frontiers Supreme 300 B SE Integrated Tube Amplifier
The Supreme 300B SE is New Audio Frontiers’ single-ended triode integrated amplifier built around the 300B output tube — the same tube that has anchored reference SET designs since Western Electric introduced it in the 1930s. The Italian manufacturer builds to a standard that requires no apology: point-to-point wiring, premium passive components, a circuit topology that keeps the signal path as direct and unobstructed as the approach allows.
Output is modest by specification and irrelevant in practice. Eight to ten watts of 300B single-ended power into a high-efficiency speaker does things to the human voice and acoustic instruments that more powerful amplifiers — regardless of cost — simply do not do. The midrange is the reason people chase 300B designs for decades. This one delivers it without compromise.
Match it to a speaker that deserves it — 96 dB and above — and the combination will make most amplifiers at twice the price sound like they are working too hard.
