NAD CS1 Endpoint Streaming Device
NAD built the CS1 around a single question: what's the most efficient way to add BluOS network streaming to an existing system without replacing any of it? The answer is a compact endpoint — roughly the size of a deck of cards — with analog RCA and optical digital outputs that connect to any amplifier or integrated already in place. Wi-Fi, Ethernet, Bluetooth aptX Adaptive. The full BluOS platform: Spotify Connect, TIDAL, Qobuz, Amazon Music, AirPlay 2, internet radio, multi-room grouping with any other BluOS device.
The CS1 is not a DAC, not an amplifier, not a preamp. It's a streaming module in its own chassis, which means it slots into any system without requiring anything else to change. A listener with a 30-year-old integrated they have no intention of replacing can add every current streaming service to that system for under $300 and control it from a phone.
NAD, Bluesound, and PSB are all Lenbrook — the BluOS platform is the same across all three brands. The CS1 is NAD's version of that platform in the smallest possible footprint at the lowest possible price.
