Magico S3 MKII Loudspeakers M-Cast
Three-way. Sealed box. Extruded aircraft-grade aluminum cabinet — a single-piece monocoque shell produced at one of the only facilities in the world capable of extruding aluminum at this diameter, internally braced with bolts running through the half-inch shell to stabilizing cross-members. Magico builds sealed enclosures because sealed enclosures measure and behave correctly. No port tuning, no bass reflex coloration, no frequency at which the box stops working and the port takes over. The cabinet doesn't contribute to the sound. That's the objective and the sealed aluminum construction is how they achieve it.
The tweeter is a 1-inch diamond-coated beryllium dome — the MDD7 — with wider dispersion and higher power handling than the original S-series tweeter. Beryllium for the stiffness-to-mass ratio that no other tweeter material approaches. Diamond coating to push the first breakup mode above the audible range. The midrange cone is Magico's nanographene-loaded Multi-Wall carbon fiber — 20% lighter and 300% stiffer than the previous S-series cone material, with its own isolated internal sub-enclosure lined with German "angel hair" damping compound. Twin 9-inch nanographene woofers in the sealed lower section. The crossover was redesigned for the MKII to raise system impedance and reduce the amplifier load — this speaker is easier to drive than its predecessor without giving anything back in sensitivity.
Frequency response 24Hz to 50kHz. Impedance 4 ohms nominal. Sensitivity 88dB. 170 lbs per side.

We offer a 3-day return window on all purchases. Returns made to a credit or debit card will incur a 5 percent processing fee. Shipping costs, both to and from, are the responsibility of the customer if applicable.
After the 3-day window and up to 3 weeks from the date of purchase, items may still be returned, subject to a 20 percent restocking fee.
For shipped orders, customers must notify us within 3 days of receiving the item to initiate a return. Once the item is received back in the same condition it was sent, we will issue a refund minus all shipping charges and a 5 percent credit card processing fee.
