Luxman C900U Control Amplifier
The C-900U is Luxman's reference preamplifier and the intended partner for the M-900U — two pieces that Luxman designed together and that reviewers have consistently evaluated together for good reason. The volume control is Luxman's LECUA 1000, an 88-step resistor ladder attenuator that replaces the conventional potentiometer entirely. Every step is a fixed resistance value, not a swept contact — which means channel tracking is exact at every listening level, not just at the middle of the range where conventional pots tend to perform best. The balanced amplification circuit handles the hot and cold components of both channels in four independent modules, keeping left and right — and the two legs of the balanced signal — genuinely isolated through the circuit rather than just at the connectors. ODNF 4.0 applies negative feedback only to distortion products, not to the full signal. The power supply draws from a toroidal transformer with capacity equivalent to Luxman's B-1000f monaural power amplifier — a power supply this size in a preamplifier is a statement about what Luxman thinks the rest of the circuit deserves to work with. Tone controls are included, implemented properly, and worth using if the room calls for it.

We offer a 3-day return window on all purchases. Returns made to a credit or debit card will incur a 5 percent processing fee. Shipping costs, both to and from, are the responsibility of the customer if applicable.
After the 3-day window and up to 3 weeks from the date of purchase, items may still be returned, subject to a 20 percent restocking fee.
For shipped orders, customers must notify us within 3 days of receiving the item to initiate a return. Once the item is received back in the same condition it was sent, we will issue a refund minus all shipping charges and a 5 percent credit card processing fee.
