Luxman PD 272 Direct Drive Turntable
When it hit the market, the PD-272 wasn’t Luxman’s flagship (that honor went to more exotic designs) but it earned a reputation as a sort of gentleman’s entry point into serious hi-fi. It was approachable, easy to set up, and yet imbued with the craftsmanship Luxman was known for. Owners often remarked on how “right” it felt once dialed in, and how it carried an aura of precision without pretense.
The PD-272 is equipped with the precision-engineered TA-1 tonearm, manufactured by Micro Seiki, a respected name in Japanese audio engineering. It comes fitted with a Denon DL-103 low-output moving coil (MC) cartridge, known for its excellent sound reproduction and long-standing reputation among audiophiles.

We offer a 3-day return window on all purchases. Returns made to a credit or debit card will incur a 5 percent processing fee. Shipping costs, both to and from, are the responsibility of the customer if applicable.
After the 3-day window and up to 3 weeks from the date of purchase, items may still be returned, subject to a 20 percent restocking fee.
For shipped orders, customers must notify us within 3 days of receiving the item to initiate a return. Once the item is received back in the same condition it was sent, we will issue a refund minus all shipping charges and a 5 percent credit card processing fee.
