Lumin T2 Network Streamer

Lumin builds streamers for people who take the source seriously, and the T2 is where that philosophy becomes fully realized. It is not an entry point — it is a statement about what network audio can sound like when the engineering behind it is given room to breathe.

The T2 streams from your network, plays Roon, handles Tidal, Qobuz, and Spotify, and accepts digital inputs from external sources. The DAC section uses an ESS Sabre reference chip implemented the way ESS intends it to be used — with a proper analog output stage behind it rather than a cost-reduced filter. It plays PCM up to 32-bit/384kHz and native DSD256. The power supply is linear, separated from the digital circuitry, and built with the same attention Lumin brings to everything else in the chassis.

The Lumin app is one of the better control interfaces in streaming audio — responsive, logically organized, and updated consistently. It integrates cleanly with Roon if that is your preference, or runs independently if it is not.

Sonically the T2 sits in a specific place: detailed without being analytical, with a low noise floor that lets quiet passages stay quiet and dynamic swings land without compression. It does not editorialize. It plays what is there, and what is there sounds like music rather than a demonstration of what a streamer can do.
