Rega Mini A2D Phono Stage and Analog-to-Digital Converter
The Rega Mini A2D does two things: it is a moving magnet phono stage, and it converts that analog signal to digital via USB. Connect a turntable, run the analog output to your amplifier as a standard phono stage, and simultaneously send a digitized version of the signal to a computer for recording. For anyone who wants to archive a vinyl collection without a separate ADC in the chain, this is the clean single-box solution.
Rega builds to a standard rather than a price point, and the phono stage in the Mini A2D reflects that — it is not an afterthought bolted onto a USB interface, it is a proper Rega MM stage in a compact enclosure. The digitizing capability is the bonus, not the lead.
Compact enough to sit beside a turntable or tuck behind a rack. Useful for the listener who wants to preserve records, the newcomer who wants to connect a turntable to a modern setup, or anyone running a desktop system that needs both analog listening and digital capture from the same source.
