KEF R3 Meta Standmount Speakers — Indigo Blue, with Stands
The R3 Meta is the standmount that makes the case for KEF's 12th-generation Uni-Q driver array in a format that fits real rooms. Three-way design: 25mm aluminum dome tweeter mounted coaxially at the center of a 125mm aluminum midrange, with a 165mm bass driver below. The coaxial arrangement means the tweeter and midrange radiate from the same point in space — a single acoustic source rather than two drivers trying to integrate across a listening room.
The Meta designation is the meaningful addition. MAT — Metamaterial Absorption Technology — is a labyrinthine structure mounted behind the tweeter that absorbs 99% of the unwanted rear-wave energy that would otherwise reflect back through the dome and color the output. The result is a cleaner, lower-distortion top end than the standard R3 delivered, and the standard R3 was already a well-regarded speaker.

We offer a 3-day return window on all purchases. Returns made to a credit or debit card will incur a 5 percent processing fee. Shipping costs, both to and from, are the responsibility of the customer if applicable.
After the 3-day window and up to 3 weeks from the date of purchase, items may still be returned, subject to a 20 percent restocking fee.
For shipped orders, customers must notify us within 3 days of receiving the item to initiate a return. Once the item is received back in the same condition it was sent, we will issue a refund minus all shipping charges and a 5 percent credit card processing fee.
