Grand Prix Audio Monaco Modular Equipment Stand

Grand Prix Audio builds their racks the way aerospace companies build structural components — aircraft-grade aluminum, machined and assembled to tolerances that most audio furniture manufacturers don't attempt. The Monaco is their modular platform: shelves are independently supported, which means each component sits on its own isolated surface rather than sharing resonance paths with everything else in the stack.

The design philosophy is mechanical grounding rather than isolation — energy from the component is directed out and down through the structure rather than trapped and allowed to re-enter. The result is audible, particularly with sources and digital components where vibration-induced noise floors are the limiting factor. Adjustable shelf height accommodates full-size amplifiers alongside smaller components. The modular configuration means the stand grows with the system.
