Sansui G-5500
The Sansui 5500 is pure ‘70s hi-fi magic. Built at a time when Sansui was cranking out some of the most musical, bulletproof gear on the planet. With 60 watts per channel into 8 ohms, it’s got more than enough muscle to bring vintage speakers to life, yet the finesse to deliver smooth highs and rich, dimensional mids.
Part of Sansui’s legendary G-Series (’79–’81), the G-5500 is everything we love about late-’70s hi-fi: big sound, bold looks, and rock-solid build quality. The G-5500 wears its style proudly: iconic linear power meters that dance with the music, smooth analog FM tuning, and clean lines that still turn heads decades later.
