Focal's Clear sits at the upper tier of what the French manufacturer makes for the home listening market — open-back, circumaural, built around their 40mm aluminum/magnesium "M"-shaped dome driver. That driver geometry matters: the "M" profile is stiffer and lighter than a conventional cone, which means lower distortion across the frequency range and faster transient response than most headphones in this class deliver.
The result is a headphone that's clean without being clinical. Bass is controlled and present, the midrange is where the Clear earns its reputation, and the top end extends without the edge that plagues a lot of open-backs. 55 ohm impedance makes it easy to drive from most headphone amps and even better portable sources, though it scales well with better amplification.

We offer a 3-day return window on all purchases. Returns made to a credit or debit card will incur a 5 percent processing fee. Shipping costs, both to and from, are the responsibility of the customer if applicable.
After the 3-day window and up to 3 weeks from the date of purchase, items may still be returned, subject to a 20 percent restocking fee.
For shipped orders, customers must notify us within 3 days of receiving the item to initiate a return. Once the item is received back in the same condition it was sent, we will issue a refund minus all shipping charges and a 5 percent credit card processing fee.
