dCS Bartók Headphone DAC — Black
The Bartók is dCS's entry into their own lineup — which means it's a reference-class DAC by any other standard. dCS builds in Cambridge, England, and the Ring DAC at the center of the Bartók is their own proprietary conversion architecture, refined over decades and shared with their more expensive components. It does not use an off-the-shelf DAC chip.
The Headphone DAC variant adds a fully discrete headphone amplifier stage — up to 5 watts into 16 ohms, with both quarter-inch and balanced 3-pin XLR outputs. It handles low-impedance planar magnetics and high-impedance dynamic drivers without compromise. Network streaming built in: TIDAL, Qobuz, Spotify, UPnP, Roon Ready. Digital inputs via USB, AES/EBU, coaxial, and optical. PCM to 32-bit/384kHz, DSD to DSD256. Balanced XLR and RCA analog outputs for use as a preamplifier or direct to a power amplifier.

Return Policy
We offer a 3-day return window on all purchases. Returns made to a credit or debit card will incur a 5 percent processing fee. Shipping costs, both to and from, are the responsibility of the customer if applicable.
After the 3-day window and up to 3 weeks from the date of purchase, items may still be returned, subject to a 20 percent restocking fee.
For shipped orders, customers must notify us within 3 days of receiving the item to initiate a return. Once the item is received back in the same condition it was sent, we will issue a refund minus all shipping charges and a 5 percent credit card processing fee.
