Dan D'Agostino designed the Momentum series after leaving Krell — the thermal meter on the faceplate is his signature, carried over because it works and because it looks like nothing else in the industry. The chassis is machined aluminum with copper accents, built to a fit-and-finish standard that makes most amplifiers at any price look like afterthoughts.
The S250 runs a proprietary output stage with no global negative feedback, which is the design decision that defines how it sounds: fast, uncompressed, with dynamic headroom that makes speakers behave differently than they do on lesser amplifiers. The power supply is massive relative to the rated output — Momentum amplifiers are known for delivering more into difficult loads than the specs suggest. Balanced XLR inputs. Runs warm, as Class A-biased designs do.

We offer a 3-day return window on all purchases. Returns made to a credit or debit card will incur a 5 percent processing fee. Shipping costs, both to and from, are the responsibility of the customer if applicable.
After the 3-day window and up to 3 weeks from the date of purchase, items may still be returned, subject to a 20 percent restocking fee.
For shipped orders, customers must notify us within 3 days of receiving the item to initiate a return. Once the item is received back in the same condition it was sent, we will issue a refund minus all shipping charges and a 5 percent credit card processing fee.
