Analysis Plus Solo Crystal Oval Balanced Interconnect — 2M XLR

Analysis Plus actually ran finite element analysis on conductor geometry to figure out what shape moves signal most cleanly. The answer was oval. Round conductors concentrate current at the outer edge under high frequencies; oval geometry distributes it more evenly, which reduces the skin effect that smears fine detail. Most cable companies arrive at their design by listening. These guys did the math first.

The Solo Crystal Oval goes further with single-crystal copper — one continuous grain structure from end to end, no boundaries for the signal to cross. What that means in practice is a cable that doesn’t add texture to what it’s carrying. Transients land cleanly, the noise floor drops, and the soundstage stops feeling like it’s being filtered through something.

Two meters, balanced XLR termination. The right length for most equipment rack configurations, and the balanced connection takes common-mode noise off the table entirely. If your source and preamp both have XLR outputs and you’re running anything else, you’re leaving something on the table.
